Why DnB Dance?

October 30, 2009 Leave a comment

I called this blog DnBdance because…

My first name is Dante. I’m currently a MFA candidate for Choreography & Performance at The Ohio State University. I began my dance training at Wesleyan University after being accepted in Precision Dance Company, a student group specializing in hip-hop dance.  While receiving my BA, I was able to choreograph multiple works and participate in an exciting dance community.

My last name is Brown. My last name represents my past, my family, my culture, my values, my morals, my perspectives, my insight, my foundation.

That’s pretty much why it’s called DnB dance. This blog is for me to continue to find my choreograph voice and find myself in the dance community.
